A lifetime warranty is provided on the lift and recline mechanisms and the chair frame. These components are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for as long as the original purchaser owns and uses the chair. Coverage includes:

• Metal fatigue

Note: The manufacturer may replace only the specific part of the lift or recline mechanism, scissor(s), or chair frame determined to be defective due to workmanship. Damage caused by misuse or abuse is not covered.

Seven-Year Pro-Rated Warranty

In addition to the lifetime warranty, a seven-year pro-rated warranty applies to certain electrical and powered components.

First four (4) years from purchase:

If found defective in materials or workmanship, the following parts will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer’s option:

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover fabric. It also does not include labor, service calls, shipping, or other costs related to repair, unless specifically authorized in advance. All transportation costs and damages incurred during shipping for warranty claims are the purchaser’s responsibility.

Additional exclusions include:

• Circumstances outside of the manufacturer’s control
  
• Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  
• Damage caused by contamination, abuse, misuse, accidents, negligence, or improper operation, storage, or maintenance
  
• Battery fluid spillage or leakage
  
• Commercial or non-standard use
  

Implied Warranties

Implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to one (1) year from the date of purchase, where allowed by law. All other implied warranties are excluded. Liability for incidental or consequential damages is not covered under any warranty.

Assembly is quick and easy — it takes about 10–15 minutes. Simply slide the backrest into the base until it locks, connect the remote and color-coded cables, attach the battery backup, and plug it in. No special tools are needed, though having a second person can make setup easier.
