Will it fit a one-piece toilet?

This is the question that causes most returns on safety frames. The frame mounts using the two bolts that already hold your seat on, so you need to be able to reach and unscrew them. Two-piece toilets, where the tank is a separate unit bolted to the bowl, are almost always fine. Some one-piece designs have a skirted or moulded back that buries the seat bolts or leaves no flat surface for the bracket. Look at the back of your seat before ordering.
