Yes, gently. Bend it by hand to follow the natural curve of your finger before you strap it on. Don't bend it back and forth repeatedly. Aluminum work-hardens and can crack.
Three on the finger and hand, plus a removable wrist strap. Use all of them for a fracture. For a milder injury you can leave the wrist strap off and it becomes a lighter, full-length finger splint.
Yes. The neoprene blend is padded and moisture-wicking, and the wrist strap stops it working loose overnight. Many people wear it at night and switch to a lighter option by day once the doctor allows movement.
Yes. Only the splinted finger is fixed; the remaining fingers and thumb are free. You'll notice the wrist strap when you flex your wrist, but it doesn't stop you.
Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent and air dry. Don't machine wash or tumble dry. The heat will warp the bar.
