The Numbers
What it carries, how far it goes, and how it packs down.
350 lb Weight Capacity
A reinforced frame rated to carry riders up to 350 lb, or 159 kg.
17.5 Inch Wide Seat
Wider than a standard scooter seat, with armrests, so a long day sitting stays comfortable.
10 to 12 Miles Per Charge
Covers a day of errands, a museum, or a long afternoon out with charge to spare.
Top Speed 4 mph
A steady walking pace. Speed is adjustable, so you can slow it right down indoors.
Tool-Free Disassembly
Comes apart by hand into pieces that fit in the trunk of a standard car. No tools, no spanner.
Three or Four Wheel
Both configurations are available. Three turns tighter indoors, four holds steadier outdoors. Tell us which you want when you book.
Arrives Charged
Delivered with a full battery and the charger, so you can use it the same day.
Cleaned and Battery-Tested
Every unit is disinfected and the battery load-tested before it goes out again.
Which Scooter Do You Need?
We rent two heavy duty scooters in Dallas. The difference comes down to weight rating and how far you need to go in a day.
| Heavy Duty (this one) | Extra Large Heavy Duty | |
|---|---|---|
| Weight rating | 350 lb | 400 lb |
| Seat width | 17.5" | Extra wide |
| Range per charge | 10–12 miles | Around 15.5 miles |
| Top speed | 4 mph | 5.25 mph |
| Wheels | 3 or 4 wheel | 4 wheel |
| From (7 days) | $175 | $205 |
If you're under 350 lb and mostly need the scooter for errands, appointments and days out, this one is the sensible choice and it costs less. Go for the extra large 400 lb scooter if you need the higher rating, or if you're covering somewhere like Fair Park or a convention centre where the extra range matters.
Not sure which fits? Call (469) 915-4786 and we'll work it out with you.

Is It Worth Buying One?
If you'll use a scooter every day for years, buying eventually wins. If you need one for a trip, a recovery, or a few months, renting usually costs less once you count the battery, the servicing and finding somewhere to keep it.
| RENT FROM US | BUY NEW | |
|---|---|---|
| Commitment | Keep it only while you need it | One large purchase |
| Delivery & Setup | Free, within 24 hours in Dallas | Freight cost, or a store trip |
| Battery Replacement | Ours to handle | A recurring cost you carry |
| Repairs & Servicing | We fix or swap it | Your responsibility |
| If It Isn't Right | Swap to the 400 lb model, no charge | You're stuck with it |
| When You're Done | One call and we collect it | Storage, or a resale listing |
A heavy duty scooter runs into four figures new. For a season of limited mobility, renting means no battery to replace, nothing to service, and nothing to store when it's no longer needed.

A heavy duty scooter rated to 350 lb with a wide seat, and it still packs into a normal car. We bring it to you, set it up, and collect it when you're finished.
You Need More Than a Standard Scooter
Standard rental scooters are built lighter and narrower. If you've found one uncomfortable or felt it working hard, a 350 lb frame with a 17.5 inch seat is the next step up.
Long Days Wear You Out
Big stores, appointments, a full day at a family event. If that's the part you dread, the scooter does the walking. Ten to twelve miles on a charge is more than most people cover in a day.
Getting Around at Home
Groceries, the pharmacy, a walk round the block. It's narrow enough to use indoors and steady enough for driveways and sidewalks.
You Need It to Fit in the Car
This is the one people pick when the car is the deciding factor. It comes apart by hand, no tools, into pieces that fit in the trunk of a standard sedan.
Recovery, or Days When Energy Runs Short
Plenty of people rent one for a few weeks after surgery, or through a stretch when walking any distance is hard. It's there when you need it and gone when you don't.
Trying One Before You Buy
Buying a heavy duty scooter is a serious amount of money. Rent for a month first and you'll know whether the seat, the range and the controls actually suit how you live.
Why Not Just Rent a Standard Scooter?
Standard models carry less, have narrower seats, and don't go as far on a charge. For a larger rider or a long day, those are the limits you notice first.
What We Do Between Rentals
You sit in the seat and hold the tiller, so those are the parts we clean hardest. Every scooter goes through the same four checks before it goes back out. If a unit doesn't pass, it doesn't leave.
Full Inspection
Frame, tires, brakes and steering checked on every unit
Disinfected
Medical-grade disinfectant, EPA List N approved
Touch Points Cleaned
Seat, armrests, tiller and controls, with hospital detergent
Charged and Test-Driven
Battery charged and load-tested, then driven before it loads
Where Our Dallas Scooters Actually Go
We cover Downtown Dallas, Uptown, Deep Ellum, Highland Park, University Park, Preston Hollow, Oak Cliff, Lake Highlands and the surrounding neighbourhoods. These are the places we get asked about most.
Coming Home From Hospital
We deliver same-day for discharges at UT Southwestern, Baylor Scott & White, Methodist Dallas, Texas Health Presbyterian, Medical City Dallas and Parkland. Have your case manager call us and we'll coordinate the timing with the ward.
Appointments and Errands
Most of our monthly Dallas rentals are for exactly this. Groceries, the pharmacy, a clinic visit, getting to the car. Nothing dramatic, it just makes the week possible again.
DFW Airport and Love Field
We meet you at terminal arrivals, the rental car center, or your hotel shuttle stop. Send us your flight number when you book and we'll time it to your landing. Call (469) 915-4786.
Museums and Days Out
The Perot, the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, Klyde Warren Park, Reunion Tower. Indoor venues suit this scooter well because it turns tighter than the extra large model.
Weddings and Family Occasions
Long ceremony, long reception, and a walk between the two. Renting for the weekend means nobody has to sit out the evening or spend it looking for a chair.
Visiting Family in Dallas
If a relative is coming to stay and can't manage the walking, we'll deliver before they arrive and collect after they leave. Houses, apartments and hotels across Dallas.

Up to 350 lb, or 159 kg, with a 17.5 inch wide seat. If you need a higher rating, our extra large model is built for 400 lb. Call (469) 915-4786 if you're close to either figure and we'll tell you honestly which one to take.
Ten to twelve miles on a full charge, with a top speed of 4 mph. Speed is adjustable so you can bring it right down indoors. The charger plugs into any wall outlet and fills the battery overnight.
Weight rating and range, mainly. This one is rated to 350 lb and does 10–12 miles on a charge. The extra large is rated to 400 lb and does around 15.5 miles, and it costs $30 more per week. If you're under 350 lb and using it for errands and appointments, this one is the sensible pick.
Yes, and this is the one people choose when that's the deciding factor. It comes apart by hand with no tools into pieces that fit the trunk of a standard sedan. The driver shows you how on delivery. Use two people for the base section.
We stock both. A three-wheel turns tighter, which helps in a house or a shop. Four wheels give a wider base and hold steadier on grass, gravel and sloped walkways. Tell us which you'd prefer when you book and we'll match it where we can.
Free delivery within 24 hours anywhere in Dallas. Call (469) 915-4786 and we'll confirm a window. We deliver to homes, hotels, hospitals, care facilities and event venues.

Somewhere else in the area? Call (469) 915-4786 and we can usually still get to you.
One day. Plenty of our Dallas rentals are a single day for an event or a family occasion. From there you can rent by the weekend, the week, or the month, and you can extend at any point with a phone call.

It brakes automatically when you let go of the throttle, and holds on a slope. Every unit gets its frame, tires, brakes and steering checked, plus a battery load test, before it leaves us.
Yes. The batteries are sealed and rated for high temperatures. Park it in shade, a garage or hotel storage rather than direct sun, same as you would a car. In 100°F and above you may notice slightly less range, but nothing else changes.
It arrives charged, with the charger. Plug it into any standard wall outlet when it needs topping up. A full charge takes a few hours, so most people leave it on overnight and start each day full.
Neither. A mobility scooter isn't a prescription device and no licence is required to use one. Ride at a controlled speed and take crossings carefully.
Yes. Call before your end date and we'll extend it, with no paperwork and no fee. If you finish early, call and we'll collect it.
Medicare Part B may cover a scooter rental if a doctor prescribes it and documents the medical need. Private insurance varies a lot, so check with your plan. We'll give you an itemised receipt for a reimbursement claim either way. Rentals for holidays and events are normally self-pay.
Yes, four interest-free instalments through Shop Pay at checkout.
