Lifetime Warranty
The lift and recline mechanisms and the chair frame are covered by a lifetime warranty. These parts are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, for as long as the chair is owned and used by the original purchaser. Coverage includes:
- Metal fatigue
- Defective welds
- Bushings
Note: Only the defective portion of the lift or recline mechanism, scissor(s), or chair frame may be replaced. Damage resulting from misuse or abuse is not covered.
Seven-Year Pro-Rated Warranty
A seven-year pro-rated warranty applies to the following components:
- Motor
- Hand Control
- Transformer/Control Box
- Power Headrest
- Power Lumbar
Years 1–4:
These parts will be repaired or replaced if found defective in materials or workmanship.
Years 5–7 (pro-rated coverage):
The same parts are eligible for replacement at discounted rates:
- Year 5: 25% off suggested retail price
- Year 6: 15% off suggested retail price
- Year 7: 5% off suggested retail price
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover fabric. It also excludes labor, service calls, shipping, and other repair-related costs unless specifically authorized in advance. All transportation costs and shipping damages during service are the purchaser’s responsibility.
The warranty does not apply to:
- Issues beyond the manufacturer’s control
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Damage from contamination, abuse, misuse, accidents, negligence, or improper operation, storage, or maintenance
- Battery fluid spillage or leakage
- Commercial or non-standard use
Implied Warranties
Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to one (1) year from the date of purchase, unless otherwise restricted by law. All other implied warranties are excluded. Liability for incidental or consequential damages is not covered.
Note: Some states do not allow limits on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental/consequential damages, so these restrictions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.
