Frequently Asked Questions

Three sleeves: one sized for the thumb, one for the little finger, and one standard sleeve for the index, middle or ring finger. That covers every digit without buying separately.

Therapy. There's no stay in it and it doesn't immobilise anything. It's a wearable gel pack. If you need the joint held straight, look at the Trigger Finger Splint. This is the softer option. Plenty of people use both: splint at night, cold sleeve after activity.

Cold after activity, heat when the joint feels tight. Heat for morning stiffness: it loosens the joint before you start using it. Freeze the sleeve for cold; warm it gently for heat. Don't microwave it on high or put it on a radiator.

Cold: around 15 minutes, then a break. Heat: until it's no longer warm. If the skin under a cold sleeve goes white or starts to burn, take it off. That's the signal for everyone, not just people with poor circulation.

Yes. They're latex-free and built for repeated freezing and warming. Let them return to room temperature between uses rather than going straight from freezer to warm.

They are a thin knit, so they add a little warmth without being hot. Most people find they can wear them indoors all day.
