Shipping Policy

At Medical Supplies and Services, we are committed to getting the right equipment to you quickly, safely, and affordably. This Shipping Policy covers both the purchase (sale) of medical equipment and the delivery and pickup of rental equipment.

For sales, we ship purchased products across the 48 contiguous United States. For rentals, delivery and pickup is available exclusively in the Chicago metropolitan area (Illinois), Dallas (Texas), and Fort Worth (Texas).

PART A — SHIPPING FOR PURCHASED PRODUCTS

  1. Order Processing Time

All purchase orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment is confirmed. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

Note: Processing times may be longer during high-demand periods.

  1. Large Item and Freight Shipments

Large equipment such as hospital beds, power wheelchairs, and mobility scooters may be shipped via freight carrier (LTL).

Freight Shipment Details
A freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.
Standard freight delivery is curbside.
Inside delivery may be available for an additional fee and must be requested at time of order.
Inspect all large items at the time of delivery and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
  1. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your item arrives visibly damaged:

If damage is discovered after delivery, contact us within 48 hours.
Keep all original packaging for damage claims.
  1. Incorrect Shipping Address

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order.

Once an order has been shipped, we cannot guarantee address changes and any additional costs will be the customer's responsibility.

PART B — DELIVERY AND PICKUP FOR RENTAL EQUIPMENT

All rental equipment orders include free delivery, professional setup, and free pickup within our service areas.

There are no hidden delivery or pickup charges for rentals.

Medical Supplies and Services provides free delivery on every rental order within our service areas.

Free delivery to your home, hospital, rehabilitation facility, or care setting.
Professional setup and installation of the equipment on-site by our trained staff.
A hands-on demonstration of how to use the equipment safely and correctly.
Free pickup of the equipment at the end of the rental period.
  1. Delivery Timeline — 24-Hour Delivery

We offer delivery within 24 hours for most rental equipment orders in our service areas.

Same-day delivery may be available for urgent hospital discharge situations — please call us at 847-696-6814.

Rental delivery is available Monday through Saturday.

An adult (18 or older) must be present at the delivery address to receive and attend the setup demonstration.

  1. Equipment Condition and Sanitization

All rental equipment is professionally cleaned, sanitized, and inspected between every patient use.

If you have any concerns about the condition of the equipment upon delivery, please let our delivery team know immediately.

  1. Delivery Access and Requirements
Delivery Requirements
An adult (18 or older) must be present at the delivery address for the full duration of the delivery appointment.
The delivery area should be cleared and accessible for the equipment.
For apartment buildings, please ensure elevator access is available if the unit is not on the ground floor.
Inform us of any access restrictions such as gates or parking limitations when scheduling.
For hospital discharge deliveries, please provide discharge details so we can coordinate timing.
  1. Rental Equipment Pickup

At the end of your rental period, we will coordinate a free pickup at a time convenient for you.

Pickup Instructions
Pickup must be scheduled in advance. Please contact us at least 24 hours before your rental end date.
An adult must be present at the time of pickup.
The equipment must be available and accessible at the time of the scheduled pickup.
If you need to extend your rental period, contact us before the scheduled pickup date.
Late returns or failure to make equipment available may result in additional rental charges.
Once your rental period is complete, our standard scheduled pickup time is 2:00 PM on your confirmed pickup date. Please ensure the equipment is ready and accessible at that time.
In some cases, our pickup team may experience delays beyond the scheduled time due to high order volumes and back-to-back fulfillment commitments.
Please do not remove the name tag attached to your rental item, as it is used by our team to identify and verify equipment during pickup. Removing it may cause delays or errors in the collection process.

Standard pickup is scheduled at 2:00 PM.
Occasional delays may occur due to high order volumes — we will notify you if this happens.
Do not remove the name tag from your rental item at any time, as it is required for correct identification and pickup by our team.

While we strive to meet every scheduled window, delays may occasionally occur due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Our team will contact you as early as possible to arrange a new time.
